Game story
In the Saints Row game, players enter a fictional city called Santo Ileso in the American Southwest. A world full of crime and you, along with your companions and friends, must form The Saints and your empire on the streets of Santo Ileso and fight to preserve it. This game is a necessary reboot for a franchise that has gotten out of hand, and Volition has made some smart decisions for its game without losing its goofy, violent,
raw nature.
Saints Row pushes the boundaries of idiocy more than it needs to, but still manages to provide a wellspring of the series' chaotic action. The story is very simple and predictable, but it is fascinating to spend time with its diverse, well-characterized characters. It's a shame that the gameplay doesn't really come up with new ideas and includes outdated mechanics and stage design. The combat system is acceptable, and the exaggerated story missions are enjoyable; But among these missions, we also see many additions and stereotypes. Rebooting the series seemed logical; However, in many ways, Saints Row is stuck in the past, unable to live up to its legacy.
