Kornet-D
The Kornet-D is an anti-tank guided missile system designed for integration on light armored vehicles like the Tigr . Unveiled on May 9, 2015 during the Victory Day Parade .
The system is equipped with 2 quadruple launchers containing a total of 16 Kornet-EM (8 in reserve). In travel mode, the system is kept inside the vehicle, but can be deployed on the roof in seconds. Capable of engaging two targets simultaneously and firing 2 missiles in less than a second. It is also equipped with an automatic tracking system, that is to say that it will track and guide each missile towards its designated target without the help of an operator 8 , 9 .

Usage
During the 2003 invasion of Iraq , Kornets were used by Iraqi special forces against US armored vehicles, with two Abrams tanks and one Bradley armored vehicle claimed , in the first week of the 10,11 war .
During the 2006 war in Lebanon , Hezbollah used Kornets, presumably delivered by Syria, against the Israeli army. Up to 4 Merkava tanks were reportedly destroyed using these missiles 12 , 13 , 14 .

The first seizures of Kornet by Israeli forces took place in the village of Ghandouriyeh. The recipient of the missiles was indicated on their box: Ministry of Defense of Syria.
