About this course
Hello guys, my name is Dino, and welcome to another class. In this course, we will model the popular cartoon character Arnold from the famous 90s sitcom "Hey Arnold!" ".
The show focuses on a fourth calibrator named Arnold, who lives with his grandparents at one time in the inner city. The episodes focus on his experiences through city life while dealing with the problems he, he and his friends encounter.
Arnold is a cool, pleasant, calm, optimistic, upbeat, intelligent idealist, who always sees the best in people despite how unlikable or messy he may be. Although he is generally a peaceful child, he has his limits and can be a bit irritable when he is too far away.
First we will import a reference image which you can get from https://gum.co/ViJhr
For this character creation, we are going to use basic mockups and modifiers. We will model the character in the T pose which will be easier for us to animate and adjust the pose later.
First, we'll start with modeling our character. Once we've finished modeling the character, we'll edit it as an fbx file so we can import it into
Mixamo Adobe's online editing and animation tool. Once we find our favorite animation or pose, we'll download it and we'll enter Blender again.
Later we will add an HDRI image for the lightning and apply the material.
For the shirt he wears as a skirt, we're going to play with the nodes in the shadow editor to reproduce the famous padded t-shirt.
For the rest of the body we will use basic materials.
At the end, I'll show you how to set your scene and final render settings.
This curse is beginner friendly and if you are a seasoned 3D artist you can use this course as practice. So what are we waiting
for to move on to videos?
